FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between PRP Shot and a classic PRP injection?

The PRP Shot(Priapus Shot) is a specific protocol for injecting PRP into the corpora cavernosa of the penis, designed to improve erectile function. It uses the same plasma preparation technique, but with injection sites and a specific purpose for achieving an erection.

What results can be expected from the PRP Shot?

Patients report improvements in rigidity, sensitivity, and sometimes size during erections. Results develop gradually over 4 to 12 weeks, as tissue regeneration takes place. They vary from patient to patient.

Is the injection painful?

No. An anesthetic cream is applied before the injection, which is then barely felt. The session lasts approximately 30 minutes, and you can immediately resume your activities, including sexual activity, after 24 to 48 hours.

How long do the effects last?

The effects last on average 12 to 18 months. A maintenance injection may be offered to prolong the benefits, depending on the initial response to treatment.
